He will join with other national football players in training camp to prepare for upcoming friendly matches between Chile and Panama.

The US football squad is scheduled to face Chile on January 28 where Lee Nguyen and his teammates will have a chance to meet leading stars of the world on the Chilean team Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal.

Another match against Panama is set for February 8.

In November 2014, Jurgen Klinsmann had called up Lee Nguyen for the first time in seven years to play in matches against Colombia and Ireland. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he only played in the match against Colombia and couldn’t take part in the match with Ireland.

Lee Nguyen (or Nguyen The Anh in Vietnamese), 29, is an American soccer midfielder for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer (MLS). He holds dual citizenship in the United States and Vietnam.
