The liveshow Noo Phuoc Thinh in Hanoi will take place at the Ha Noi University Stadium in Thanh Xuan District. It is expected to draw about 20,000 audience members, mostly students.

“The liveshow will be my ‘thank you’ to my fans in Ha Noi in particular and in the North in general, who have supported me a lot in my musical journey. I couldn’t reach my success of today without them,” the singer said at a press conference about the concert in Ha Noi recently.

“Although this is a free concert for students and young people, I and my whole team have devoted our time and finances to offer a ‘feast’ of music to the concert-goers,” he added.

During the three-hour concert, Thinh will perform many of the songs that have made him famous. The performance will also include new remixed versions of old favourites, with genres including EDM, acoustic, pop and rock.

He will also present his latest hit Cham Khe Tim Anh Mot Chut Thoi (Touch My Heart Softly). Its music video has attracted more than 3 million views on YouTube.

According to the singer, he has held no shows over the past month in order to focus on the upcoming concert.

“The concert definitely requires a lot of my energy and hard work. Alongside daily rehearsals with my music band, I also need to practice hard with the dance group,” said Thinh, whose performing style is strongly influenced by K-pop.

In addition, four contestants of The Voice Kid Vietnam 2016 will join Thinh for a special performance at the up-coming liveshow.

Noo Phuoc Thinh, whose real name is Nguyen Phuoc Thinh, stepped into the music business only nine years ago. His career has notched several significant achievements, including three nominations for Viet Nam’s “Grammy” Devotion Awards and the award for the Singer of the Year in 2016.

The year of 2016 included several milestones for the 29-year-old. He became the winner of The Remix, a TV reality EDM (electronic dance music) programme that requires each competing singer to team up with a music producer and a DJ to remix popular songs. Last year he also accepted the invitation of The Voice Kid Vietnam producers to be one of four coaches of the reality show.

Thinh had his biggest-ever liveshow at HCM City’s Military Zone 7 Stadium last November, attracting 35,000 people of all ages.

The liveshow Noo Phuoc Thinh in Hanoi will start at 8pm, November 30, at the Ha Noi University Stadium.
