VietNamNet Bridge – Soon one of six singers on MTV Viet Nam's short-list will be named as Viet Nam's representative at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.

MTV Viet Nam's list of six, chosen because of their popularity and television visibility, include: Son Tung MTP; Noo Phuoc Thinh; Trung Quan Idol; Ho Ngoc Ha; Dong Nhi and Bich Phuong.

It is up to V-pop fans to choose who will make it off the short list. Till September 15th, fans can vote for the idols at ema.mtvvietnam.com.vn/binh-chon.

The selected singer will go on to compete at the Southeast Asia round before becoming making the Best Worldwide Act nominee list.

MTV's Best Worldwide Act, first awarded in 2011, has consistently gone to Asian musicians over their western competitors.

Last year, the award went to Chinese singer, Chris Lee while Viet Nam's singer, My Tam grabbed the award for Best Southeast Asia Act.
