The year 2020 will go down in history for a host of reasons, one being that the COVID-19 pandemic shut borders that had long been open wide for trade.
Born and bred in Van Phuc Village in Hanoi’s outskirts Thanh Tri District -- a traditional craft village once famous for bamboo weaving – Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong was taught basic weaving skills when she was just four years old.
Having collected fabric scraps from local tailors in Van Phuc village, a locality renowned for silk weaving, members of the Vun Art Cooperative turn them into beautiful folk paintings, bags, etc.
