During this time, Saigon Café will feature a vegetarian buffet corner along with the daily international buffet. 

There are many choices for vegetarians to choose such as lotus stem salad, special fresh spring rolls, fried rice with pineapple and raisin, vegetarian mushroom creamy, vegetarian prawn curry, green papaya and fried bean curd skin salad.

Other dishes for vegetarians are seasonal fruit salad, artichoke mixed bean salad, fried rice with kimchi, fried rice with lotus seed and Chinese mushroom, wok-fried glass noodle and so many more. 

At the same time, Li Bai Restaurant will also offer a special vegetarian a la carte menu featuring the art of vegetarian food.

Those who love vegetarian food can enjoy special vegetarian menu during the month including: stuffed tofu with lotus seed, stir fried mock meat with sweet and sour sauce, fried crispy noodle with vegetables, stir fried baby jack-fruit with sesame, and stuffed tofu with vegetable.

The restaurant will also offer vegetarian mini Buddha jump over the wall soup, stir fried abalone mushroom with chilli and lemongrass, fried sake spring rolls, braised tofu with straw mushroom, deep fried bean curd skin with sweet and sour sauce, deep fried tofu and mixed with mango and bell chili, steamed tofu with La Han style, and fried sake spring rolls. 

Vu Lan Festival is a Buddhist festival that appeared long ago in Vietnam. Every year, the festival takes place on 15th day of the seventh lunar month. 

In the thought of Vietnamese as well as people in many other countries sharing the same festival, on that day, gate of the hell opens and thus, souls of the dead can come back to their home and gather with family. 

Vietnamese considers that it’s occasion for family gathering as well as expressing love and gratitude to ancestor and parents.
