Vehicle-registration tax cut proposal still pending, disappointing car buyers
The Ministry of Finance’s (MOF) proposal on cutting the vehicle registration tax by 50 percent, starting August 1, has not been applied as expected. People had rushed to buy cars last week, before the ‘ghost month’ began on August 4.
