Veteran Ta Quang Loc explains the significance of each photo on late President Ho Chi Minh

76-year-old Ta Quang Loc has used the things he has collected to exhibit in his own library in Hung Dung district, Vinh city in commemoration of the late leader.

Loc served in the army from 1968 to 1972 and the wounded veteran started to collect documentaries relating to the late President in 1990.

He has collected up to 860 photos and 800 books about the great leader so far.

“I did the collection as I want to show my respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, who I adored much. I want many people, especially the youth, to understand more about morality and lifestyle of Uncle Ho,” Loc said.

Loc has spent a lot of time catergorising the documents following timelines.

He also acts as a guide for visitors who come to visit the library.

“Many people visit the library, especially during Uncle Ho’s birthday on May 19, and the Independence Day on September 2. They have a chance to learn more about the late President’s revolutionary career, his morality and lifestyle and follow his example.”

Visitors to the library said they have felt the veteran’s love and admiration to late President Ho Chi Minh.

“Speaking with Loc, I feel how he admired our beloved Uncle Ho,” said Nguyen Nhu Trung, a resident in Hung Dung district.

“The photos and documents Loc has collected so far have helped us a lot in understanding President Ho Chi Minh’s morality. We will try our best to follow Uncle Ho’s great example.”-VNA
