Vice Chairwoman of National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has assured foreign investors that all possible support will be provided in developing the Bac Van Phong special economic zone (SEZ) in the central province of Khanh Hoa.

Receiving a delegation of foreign investors and Khanh Hoa leaders in Hanoi on February 9, Ngan said Vietnam has proved itself as an attractive destination for investors who have lent a hand to its socio-economic development.

Bac Van Phong is one of three SEZs, including Van Don in the northern province of Quang Ninh and Phu Quoc in the southern province of Kien Giang, she added.

Former Irish Prime Minister John Burton, head of the delegation, stressed that tax and legal incentives for enterprises are essential to the success of an SEZ.

He pledged to share his experience and ideas for Bac Van Phong’s long-term development plan.
