These achievements have positively contributed to effectively implementing State and Party policies and deepening the friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and other countries throughout the world.

"In any circumstance, strengthening solidarity among nations across the globe is always a crucial element significantly contributing to the country’s success and accomplishments over the past years. We hope that the VUFO and its member organizations will make greater efforts to achieve better results in the coming years," Doan said.

VUFO President Vu Xuan Hong hailed the strengthened ties of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and world countries. In particular, last year’s NGO aid of US$304 million greatly contributed to poverty reduction, socio- economic development and health care, education, environmental protection, emergency aid, climate change response and settlement of post-war aftermath in Vietnam.

Morocco Ambassador in Vietnam and Diplomatic Corps Head, El Houcine expressed his pleasure to see Vietnam integrating rapidly into the global economy as a result of the government’s economic reform efforts during the past three decades.

The signing of free trade agreements (FTAs), the formation of the ASEAN Community in 2015 and the achievements of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiation process will help Vietnam boost its deeper economic integration.

The Moroccan diplomat said he hopes that Vietnam will fulfill all the goals set for 2015 and further foster its relationship with foreign organizations through peaceful cooperation for mutual benefit.
