VietNamNet Bridge – Le Cong Vinh scored five goals in Viet Nam's big win of 7-1 over host Macau in the 2014 World Cup qualifier' second leg match yesterday, July 3, at Macau Stadium.
The visitors, as result, earned their berth in the second qualifying round after an aggregate result of 13-1.
Despite playing on home turf Macau were too weak to make it their advantage. The visitors easily set up their domination from the beginning and Vinh opened the score at the third minute.
His other goals were at the 29th, 43rd, 74th and 82nd. Viet Nam's other winners belonged to Khanh Hoa Province-born striker Quang Hai in the 24th minute and defender Quang Thanh who raised up in an attack when it was in the last minutes of the match.

In the second round, Viet Nam will play Qatar. The first leg match will be at Al-Sadd Stadium, Doha, on July 23. The second leg match is to be held at My Dinh National Stadium five days later.
