The boys lost 0-2 to No. 3 seed Lebanon, while Pham Duc Phu was beaten 4-6, 1-6 by Sadek Jalai and Vo Hoang Hung let his rival Roy Tabet come from behind to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.

The Philippines bagged the title winning 2-1 against Singapore.

Meanwhile the girls were defeated 1-2 by Singapore. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, however, pushed Viet Nam ahead with a 7-6 (6), 6-1 over Tan Tammy. Goh Joelle leveled the result after beating Tran Thuy Thanh Truc 6-3, 6-2. In the doubles match, Minh Phuong/Thanh Truc were beaten by Joelle/Wong Tessa 6-3, 7-5.

The gold medal went to Pacific Oceania who beat Sri Lanka 2-0.
