* Broadcast marks start of World War II
A television show bridging Ha Noi and Moscow will be broadcast next Monday to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the start of Russians' war against Germany in World War II.
Titled Victory Song, the three hour broadcast will be a meeting point for the two peoples to remember important moments in both Russian and global history.
The event will be held at the Ha Noi Friendship Culture Palace and Cosmos Hotel's Art Performing Centre in Moscow.
"We have no ambition to reflect all images of the great war," said journalist Lai Van Sam, who will direct the show. The show will start at 8pm, next Tuesday, on Viet Nam Television's VTV3 and VTV4.
"We just want to share important moments of the war, people's fates, heroic examples, songs and verses that accompanied Russian people through a fierce period of history."
