VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam were ousted from the AFC U19 Women’s Football Championship in Nanjing, China, after losing to Australia 2-5 in the third match of Group B’s qualifying round yesterday.

Viet Nam’s goals were scored by Tuyet Ngan and Ha Thi Nhai in the 49th and 82nd minute, respectively.

Earlier, Viet Nam lost to Japan 0-8 and South Korea 0-5.

In another match played yesterday, Japan beat South Korea 2-0.

The event saw four teams entering the semi-finals, namely Japan and Australia (Group B), North Korea and hosts China (Group A).
