In the match against the weakest team of Group D, Viet Nam needed only nine minutes to find the first goal, which was a header by captain Hai Linh.

The host players then ended the first set with four more goals, leading 5-0.

In the second half, key players were rested, while the Vietnamese team lit up with four more goals.

After three wins, Viet Nam is second in the rankings.

Australia is on top after beating Iraq 8-0 in an earlier game. While they have same points, there remains a better goal difference.

Also, Uzbekistan found their first win here with a 2-0 victory over Hong Kong. They are now standing in third position.

On Thursday, Viet Nam will play Australia. This is considered a crucial match, as the winner will top the group and qualify for the Asian championship final.

On the same day, Hong Kong will meet Palestine and Iraq will face Uzbekistan.
