VietNamNet Bridge – The U-13 Binh Dinh football team will represent Viet Nam at the ASEAN U-13 Football Championship in Thailand held from July 15-18.

The Vietnamese team will be competing against Indonesia, India, Malaysia and two teams from Thailand, the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals to be played at the Muang Thong Thani Stadium.

Binh Dinh, runners-up in the National U-13 Football Championship, will leave for Thailand on Thursday.

Dong Thap and Dong Tam Long An, who represented Viet Nam at the tournament (won by Indonesia) last year, failed to qualify for the final rounds.

Viet Nam won the title for the first time as hosts in 2008.
