VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam will stage the second qualifying round of the Asian Football Confederation U19 Women's Championship at Thong Nhat Stadium in HCM City from December 1-9.

The hosts, together with Thailand, received automatic places in the second phase due to their sixth and seventh positions in the previous tournament. They will join India, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Iran, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei, who were successful in Groups A, B and C during the first qualifying round.

The eight teams will be divided into two groups and compete in a round-robin format. The top team from each group will meet in a play-off and the winner will join Japan, China, South Korea, North Korea and Australia in the final round of the tournament next year.

It is expected to be held from October 1-13, 2013 with the location to be determined after the second round concludes.

Viet Nam will be joined in Group B by India, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei. They will face Myanmar in the opening match on Saturday.
