Viet Nam beat Shizuoka Sangyo in friendly match

The Viet Nam national women's football team defeated Shizuoka Sangyo University 2-1 during their training session in Gotemba, Japan, on August 26.

Viet Nam's coach Norimatsu Takashi used both veterans and young players in this match. They dominated from the moment the match began.

Striker Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet opened the score for the visitors in the 15th minute.

After the break, Takashi changed six positions in order to test his line-up. That was the reason why Viet Nam couldn't control the match well and the hosts Shizuoka Sangyo levelled the score at 1-1 in the 78th minute.

In the remaining time, Viet Nam attacked continuously for more goals. In the 88th minute, receiving a pass from Do Thi Yen, Huynh Nhu coolly put her header past the goalkeeper of Shizuoka Sangyo to raise the score to 2-1.

As planned, Viet Nam will have second friendly match with Nojima Stella on August 29.
