On each flight that day, the airline’s cabin crew gave red roses to each female passenger and extended their best wishes on behalf of the airline.

“VietJet would like to take this opportunity to thank all Vietnamese women who have brought many amazing things to this world with their inner and outer beauty, love and tolerance,” said Mr. Desmond Lin, VietJet’s Business Development Manager.

“Vietnamese women are more than gorgeous and fragrant roses. With this gesture, VietJet wishes to show we are more than just a means of transportation but a companion who can share loving moments with its passengers,” he added.

Vietnamese Women’s Day has been celebrated annually on October 20 since 1930, when the Vietnam Women's Union was founded.

Flying with VietJet, passengers availing of the SkyBoss package can enjoy a premium waiting lounge and other priority boarding services.

All passengers can also order one of nine delicious meals, served by the airline’s famously friendly and enthusiastic flight attendants, and many other in-flight services, such as Duty Free shopping, while relaxing in a luxurious leather seat on one of VietJet’s brand new Airbus jets.

VietJet currently operates more than 770 flights per week. In Vietnam, VietJet has connected key economic regions such as HCM City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang... International flights include Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand), Seoul, Busan (Korea), Siem Reap (Cambodia) and Taipei (Taiwan) later this year.

VietJet is also one of the fastest growing airlines worldwide and is quickly expanding international routes throughout Asia-Pacific.
