The positive sign has proved the recovery of the international aviation market as Vietnam Airlines is striving to meet the growing demands of passengers for international flights and contribute to accelerate the country's economic development moving into the post-COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, the national flag carrier has fully prepared logistics activities, installed sufficient equipment, and arranged its personnel at Terminal 4 to serve passengers.
Starting from July 5, Vietnam Airlines will increase flights between the UK and the nation to two per week, thereby bringing the total number of flights between the both countries up to three per week.
In line with this, the airline will operate three flights per week on the London - Hanoi route every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from July 5 to August 10.
Furthermore, from August 11 to October 29 the carrier will operate flights on the London - Hanoi route every Tuesday and Thursday each week.
Moreover, the London - Ho Chi Minh City route will resume on Saturday, while return flights will run every Friday.
Most notably, in a bid to increase the frequency of flights to the UK, Vietnam Airlines will deploy round-trip fares on flights from London to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with the price starting from only GBP615, equivalent to VND17.85 million, including taxes and fees.
The programme is set to be applied for tickets that are purchased between July 1 and July 15, with departures starting from August 23 to November 3, 2022.
Customers will be able to purchase tickets at ticket offices nationwide, the airline’s official agents, website, and mobile applications.
