Conde Nast Traveler, one of the world's premier luxury and lifestyle travel magazines, has cited three famous resorts in Vietnam’s central region as top 40 of World's Best Beach Resorts: Readers' Choice 2014.

Accordingly, Hyatt Regency Danang ranked 15th in the list which was selected by the magazine’s readers.

“A 50-acre resort on an unspoiled beach fronting the famed Marble Mountains along Vietnam's central coast (15 minutes from the international airport). Cool, modern rooms all have balconies, most with sea views over low-rise rooftops”, says Conde Nast Traveler.

The 25th place was taken by Nam Hai Resort located on Ha My Beach, Hoi An City.

According to the magazine, striking architecture of the all-villa resort was inspired by the grand royal tomb of the 19th-century Emperor Tu Duc in nearby Hue.

“A fascinating, private ‘Follow the Chef’ tour of local food markets in historic Hoi An, the resort's own organic garden, and Vietnamese cooking class at The Beach Restaurant.”

Victoria Hoi An Beach won the 34th place with Readers' Rating of 89.683.

Conde Nast Traveler noted that just only 5 kilometres from the UNESCO World Heritage Site city of Hoi An, this resort was built to replicate a traditional Vietnamese fishing village.

“Tour the town, early morning fish markets, and surrounding countryside in quirky, chauffeur-driven sidecars or on complimentary mountain bikes”, it said.

Top five World's Best Beach Resorts included The Mulia, Bali of Indonesia, Southern Ocean Lodge, Kangaroo Island of Australia, Viceroy Riviera Maya of Mexico, Qualia, Great Barrier Reef of Australia, and Jade Mountain of St. Lucia.
