Domestic airlines plan to receive new aircraft this year
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has made a proposal to the Ministry of Transport allowing domestic airlines to add more aircraft this year in a bid to meet people’s increasing travel demand and to take advantage of market recovery globally.
Domestic airfare caps may increase from mid-2023
The Ministry of Transport plans to revise up the caps on domestic airfares from the second or third quarter of this year, in which the upper ticket price limit on the 850-1,000-kilometer routes would inch up by over 6%.
Six airports proposed for expansion under PPP format
The Ministry of Transport has written to the prime minister proposing upgrading and expanding six airports under the public-private partnership (PPP) format.
