VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese marksmen on November 7 pocketed two gold medals at the ongoing 2013 Southeast Asian Shooting Championships (SEASA) taking place in Malaysia.

Le Nghia won a gold in the men’s double trap, while Pham Quang Vinh, Nguyen Van Quan and Duong Anh Quan brought home another gold in the men’s team 10m air rifle.

The trio scored a total of 1,754 points, leaving far behind their opponents from Taiwan (China) and the Philippines.

Phan Quang Vinh alone scored 199.2 points in the 10m air pistol, clinching a silver medal for Vietnam.

The two gold medals earned Vietnam second place in the medal tally.

In the junior competitions, Thai Xuan Thong grabbed a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air rifle, and the Vietnamese team also took another bronze after Singapore and Taiwan (China).

Trieu Thi Hoa Hong took a silver in the women’s 25m sport pistol and Dong Minh Thanh Truc and To Van Tuyen also carried off two other bronze medals.
