The decision was issued following administrative inspection and legal review. The six banned products were marketed in Vietnam by Trinh My Co., Ltd., which is now required to fully withdraw them from all distribution channels.
According to authorities, the products violated two key regulations: their Product Information Files (PIF) were incomplete, and the actual formulas did not match the approved declarations.
Trinh My Company was previously fined by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health for these same violations, which included distributing cosmetics without sufficient documentation and for using unapproved formulas that differed from the officially declared content.
Mandatory market recall and product destruction
In its directive, the Drug Administration ordered all provincial and municipal health departments to immediately notify businesses and facilities to cease circulation of the six products. Local authorities must organize product recalls, investigate related violations, and handle them according to current regulations.
Trinh My Company has been instructed to send formal recall notices to its entire distribution network, take back the offending products, and destroy them. The company must submit a full report of the recall results before March 5.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has been specifically assigned to supervise the destruction process and submit a compliance report by March 20.
