Although they faced pressure from host country’s fans and physical team, Vietnam’s players remained calm in the first 12-minute period.

In the second period, Vietnam’s successful counter-attack led to the opening goal by Bui Tran Tuan Anh.

However, Indonesia quickly evened the score to 1-1, and soon scored again.

In the third period, Tran Vinh Phong balanced the score at 2-2 before Phan Dat finalised the score at 3-2.

After two wins, Vietnam sit top of the table. They will meet Thailand in the next match on November 21 and Timor-Leste on November 23.

The tournament has a total of five teams.
