After the friendly match against Iraq, head coach Pham Minh Giang dropped three players and completed his final lineup of 14 players registered for the play-off round.
If they are able to gain victory over Lebanon, Vietnam will win a ticket to the finals of the FIFA Futsal World Cup for the second time, having previously participated in the global tournament in Colombia for the first time back in 2016.
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup is scheduled to take place in Lithuania between September 12 and October 3.
