According to Vietnam Social Security, from July 1, students will only pay half of the required monthly contribution, while the remaining 50% will be covered by the state budget.

As in previous years, students can choose to pay for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. The monthly contribution remains set at 4.5% of the base salary, equivalent to 105,300 VND (about 4.20 USD) per month, or 1.26 million VND (about 50.40 USD) per year before subsidies.

After the 50% subsidy, students will pay:

For 3 months: 157,950 VND (about 6.30 USD), a reduction of 63,180 VND from last year.
For 6 months: 315,900 VND (about 12.60 USD), down 126,360 VND.
For 12 months: 631,800 VND (about 25.20 USD), down 252,720 VND.
