The Tiger Street Football 2013 achieved many successes and made strong impacts and attraction to millions of fans in the center of HCM City.

After the national Tiger Street Football finals 2013 on November 9, four Vietnamese teams won the right to attend the international finale of the Tiger Street Football 2013 at 23/9 Park in HCM City on November 10. The ambassador of this international tournament is football legend Canavaro, and it was aired live on FOX Sports.

At the tournament, the Vietnamese representatives competed with eight teams from Mongolia, China, Australia, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, England and Brazil, in which the two teams from England and Brazil were highly praised.

Facing strong competitors, the Vietnamese teams played extremely well, particularly the Dat Vinh Tien and Tam Hoan Chau. These teams reached the semifinals, facing two teams from Brazil and China. In the knockout round, once again Vietnam’s street soccer had spectacular performances.

After beating Brazil in the semifinals, Dat Vinh Tien did not give the team from China – the South Canton - a chance in the final. The team beat the opponent with the incredible score of 8-0 and was crowned champion in a convincing way. Tam Hoan Chau ranked fourth after losing to Brazil in the game to compete for the third position.

With the spectacular performance in the Tiger Street Football 2013, street soccer of Vietnam has affirmed its weight on the international playground.

Canavaro said that Vietnamese players may be inferior in conformation compared to the rivals from Brazil and China, but they are skilled and had a determination to win.

Not only elite street football performances, the Tiger Street Football 2013 also brought lively experience to fans in Ho Chi Minh City on November 9-10.

To help the audience enjoy street football in a passionate and cheery way, a lot of games and entertainment activities were held. The performances by DJs and professional singers, hip hop dancers with unique dance moves attracted the crowds. Along with that, the appearance of the Cage Girls brought about strange and interesting features for the young.
