VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam national men’s football team slid down to 123rd spot in the latest FIFA rankings published on June 5.

The national team has, however, maintained their number one position in the Southeast Asian region followed by the Philippines, (129th) and Thailand (149th).

Spain and Germany continue to lead the world rankings.

Argentina jumped up two notches to fifth spot and the UK reclaimed a top 10 ranking.

There will be a big change in the top 10 positions when the World Cup 2014 starts in Brazil on June 12.
