Agribank's North Ho Chi Minh City branch recently announced an auction of agricultural poultry farming equipment used for egg-laying chickens and managed by DTG Tien Giang Trading and Services Co., Ltd.

According to the bank, the equipment was imported from Turkey and comprises 13 components, including poultry housing systems and the complete production line used for chicken farming.

The assets are being sold as a single package and cannot be separated. The entire machinery, equipment and production system has been out of operation for about two years.

The starting price is VND1.84 billion, equivalent to approximately $70,300.

DTG Tien Giang Trading and Services Co., Ltd. is based in My Thuan hamlet, Tan Phuoc 1 commune, Dong Thap province, an area formerly part of Tan Phuoc district in Tien Giang province.

The company was once known for its ambitions in industrial-scale egg production and organic fertilizer manufacturing, with plans for 1.5 million laying hens capable of producing 336.6 million eggs annually, along with 13,612 tons of organic fertilizer per year.

BIDV has also recently offered for sale debts owed by Ba Huan Joint Stock Company, based in Binh Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ba Huan Thanh Hoa High-Tech Co., Ltd., based in Thanh An commune, Tay Ninh province.

As of September 23, 2026, Ba Huan's debt was provisionally calculated at VND494.5 billion, or about $18.9 million. This included nearly VND462 billion, or $17.6 million, in principal and more than VND32 billion, or $1.2 million, in interest.

Ba Huan Thanh Hoa owed more than VND130.3 billion, or about $5 million, including VND49.96 billion, or $1.9 million, in principal.

Together, the two debts totaled more than VND624.9 billion, equivalent to approximately $23.9 million.

Collateral securing Ba Huan's debt includes land-use rights covering 176,070 square meters at its Vinh Tan plant in Ho Chi Minh City, along with structures on the site comprising 22 rows of poultry houses and supporting facilities.

Other collateral includes land-use rights covering more than 6,364 square meters, together with workshops, warehouses and other structures at the company's egg processing plant in Binh Chanh, Ho Chi Minh City.

Another 244,386 square meters of land at a plant in Tay Ninh, along with 14 rows of poultry houses and supporting facilities, is also included.

The collateral further comprises an egg production line imported from the Netherlands in 2021, inventories including eggs, chickens and animal feed, outstanding receivables from business partners, and notably Ba Huan's entire ownership stake in Ba Huan Thanh Hoa High-Tech Co., Ltd.

Meanwhile, collateral securing Ba Huan Thanh Hoa's debt includes land-use rights covering 244,386 square meters in Tay Ninh, 14 rows of poultry houses and associated facilities, machinery installed in the 14 poultry buildings, outstanding receivables from business partners and inventories.

Ba Huan is a widely distributed egg brand across Vietnam's supermarket network. The company also topped a list of tax debtors published by Ho Chi Minh City's Tax Office No. 6, with outstanding tax liabilities of VND30.4 billion, or about $1.2 million.

The company had previously been subjected to tax enforcement measures and was also behind on social insurance payments.

In northern Vietnam, DTK Joint Stock Company, once promoted as one of the country's large-scale egg producers, has also seen Vietcombank repeatedly offer its assets for sale since 2021.

In July 2026, Vietcombank announced an auction of DTK Joint Stock Company's entire ownership stake in DTK Phu Tho Co., Ltd.

The auction had a starting price of more than VND10.895 billion, equivalent to approximately $416,000.
