Le Khoi Nguyen, Mister Vietnam 2010, has won the 3rd runner-up title at this year’s Mister International in Thailand.

Cesar Curti from Brazil was crowned while Martin Gardavsky from Czech, Steven Yoswara from Indonesia and Marco Djelevic received the 1st, 2nd and 4th runner-up title respectively, Vnexpress Newswire reported.

21-year-old Le Khoi Nguyen is a former professional volleyball player and is 1.86m tall.

In 2010, Nguyen, who comes from the southern province of Dong Thap, attended the Super Model Contest organized by Thoi Trang Tre (Youth Fashion) Magazine and won the bronze medal before being crowned at Mister Vietnam.

Mister International is an annual male beauty pageant founded in 2006 by the Mister Singapore Organization which also organizes the annual Mister Singapore pageant.

The contest is open to contestants who demonstrate physical beauty, talents, career achievements and compassion.

This year, it attracted contestants from 40 countries.

Vietnam has sent contestants to Mister International, including Tien Doan won the crown in 2008 and Vinh Thuy who finished in the top 15 in 2009.
