On the morning of October 26, the exhibition “30 Years of Memories - Detective Conan” opened at Kim Dong Publishing House in Hanoi. Previously held in June 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam is the first country in the world to host this exhibition outside of Japan. This event offers fans of Detective Conan in Vietnam a chance to relive childhood memories and join Conan in his quest for truth.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Ito Naoki, spoke at the event: "I understand that over 20,000 people attended the previous exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City. I hope to see a large turnout of fans here in Hanoi as well."

"Through such events, Vietnamese people have more exposure to Japanese manga, cultivating an interest in Japanese culture. From a love for manga, many have chosen Japan as a place to visit and study. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you," he added.

Detective Conan, which recently marked its 30th anniversary, has become a globally beloved series with over 1,100 chapters across 105 volumes.

Since its official release in Vietnam by Kim Dong Publishing House over two decades ago, Detective Conan remains one of the most popular manga series among Vietnamese readers.
