First launched in 2024, Vietnam iContent quickly established itself as a prestigious event for the digital content creation community in Vietnam. It is not only a platform to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations, but also a space for networking, sharing experiences, and fostering connections among creators, technology platforms, and businesses.

In 2025, Vietnam iContent returns under the theme Radiant Vietnam, in celebration of key national milestones such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the 80th anniversary of the country’s founding. According to the organizers, the event aims to promote national pride, encourage innovation, and reaffirm the role of content creators in shaping Vietnam’s global image.

Speaking at the press conference, Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, emphasized the foundations that contributed to the initial success of Vietnam iContent: "Since 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications has launched campaigns to gather and connect content creators, KOLs, and KOCs with media agencies, businesses, and regulatory bodies, in an effort to build a safe and healthy online environment. Led by the Ministry, particularly through our Authority, numerous impactful media campaigns have been implemented. Among the key contributors have been the media companies participating in these initiatives."

According to Le Quang Tu Do, within just three years, the digital landscape in Vietnam has changed significantly: "What was once unimaginable is now becoming reality - mainstream content that delivers positive value to the community is increasingly becoming the norm on social platforms, replacing the previously dominant harmful content. A clear example was seen during the grand celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day, where uplifting content didn’t only come from KOLs and KOCs but also from everyday citizens - something we call ‘citizen media’."

He affirmed that Vietnam iContent 2025 will continue on this trajectory, offering fresh, unique experiences and ensuring continued success.

Vietnam iContent 2025 will take place from September to November in Ho Chi Minh City with a series of vibrant activities. The highlight of the event is the Vietnam iContent Awards 2025, featuring three categories: Digital Creator, Digital Product, and Community Impact. The competition includes three stages: nomination (September 4-25), public voting (October 3-24), and the finals (October 30 - November 18).

In parallel, the program includes the Insight Out Talkshow (October 9-10), which will address strategies, trends, and the social responsibilities of content creators. Additionally, Meta will host a Creator Camp in mid-September, gathering hundreds of content creators to exchange ideas and explore new creative tools.

The festival will conclude in late November with a comprehensive event that includes conferences, forums, exhibitions, and connection sessions among government bodies, businesses, and creators. Notably, for the first time, a community fundraising livestream sale will be held in collaboration with TikTok and KOLs/KOCs. This initiative will promote local agricultural goods, specialties, and cultural products, while conveying human-centered messages.

With millions of expected online engagements and thousands of in-person attendees, Vietnam iContent 2025 is poised to be the premier gathering for Vietnam’s digital content industry. The event not only honors and inspires, but also helps establish digital content creation as a burgeoning, high-potential industry with deep social impact.
