Vietnam Idol 2013 winner Tran Nhat Thuy has surpassed many Vietnamese popular singers to secure a berth at the Asia-Pacific music festival “Music Matters Live” scheduled for May 20-24 in Singapore.
Thuy was chosen after her music videos collected the most votes on the website of the contest. She will perform new songs in the first two days of the event to the accompaniment of the Anh Em (Brothers) band.
The Asia-Pacific music festival is held to strengthen connectivity among artists in the region and the world.
Music Matters Live 2015 is expected to attract 70 artists and music bands from 20 nations and territories around the globe.
The event attracts the participation of world famous artists such as Dave Crowe from Australia, Deon and Mitch Advent from Singapore, Abby Asistio from the Philippines, and bands such as FAD from Hong Kong, Time Giant from Canada, Wab from France and Kingston Rudieska from the Republic of Korea.
This is the fifth time Music Matters Live is held and expected to present 180 shows in different stages.
