Vietnam was first listed among the top ten countries with the highest number of visitors travelling to Singapore last year, after more than a decade of being placed in 13th position.

According to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), more than 530,000 Vietnamese people visited the country last year, a year-on-year increase of 13%.
The numerous options for shopping are the main attraction for Vietnamese tourists in Singapore. Shopping centres such as Paragon, ION Orchard, 313@Somerset, Tang, and Orchard Central offer a wide range of products with various international brands.
China topped the list with 3 million visitors, followed by Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Singapore welcomed 17.4 million international visitors last year, with an estimated turnover of US$20 billion. This year, the number of foreign arrivals is expected to rise by 1-4%, bringing an additional increase of 1-3% to the total turnover.
