Major General Le Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the General Department of Defense Industry, stated that the expo aims to enhance international defense relations, build trust between Vietnam and other nations, and expand cooperation in defense technology.

The event will also allow Vietnam to explore global trends in weapons and military equipment, aiding the selection and improvement of equipment for the armed forces.

The exhibition will feature fighter jet flyovers by the Vietnam Air Force and special performances by Vietnam’s Border Guard K-9 units. The public can visit the exhibition from 1 PM on December 21 until the event closes on December 22.

Both domestic and international defense companies will display cutting-edge technology, including naval, ground, air defense, cybersecurity systems, and logistical support equipment.

Major General Tuyen highlighted Vietnam's contributions to the expo, with products developed by agencies such as the General Department of Defense Industry, the Air Defense and Air Force Command, the Navy Command, and the Military Technical Academy, among others.

The exhibition area spans over 100,000 square meters, with 15,000 square meters allocated for indoor exhibits and 20,000 square meters for outdoor displays.

To date, nearly 200 companies from 27 countries, including Russia, the UK, France, Spain, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Turkey, India, Iran, Japan, South Korea, China, Israel, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, the UAE, and the United States, have registered for the expo.
