The event at the central city’s Biển Đông (East Sea) Park from July 4-7 will bring Japan to Việt Nam in the most colourful and animated way.
The festival, organised by the central city’s people’s committee and Japanese General Consulate in Đà Nẵng, will feature a tourism promotion conference, a children's painting exhibition, Odori dancers and plenty of Japanese artists including Bassit Rayji.
Coaches from the Kawasaki Frontale football club will also there showing off Japanese footballing skills to children at An Trung sports centre in Sơn Trà district in the morning on July 6-7.
Wrestlers from Japan and Việt Nam will stage demonstrations at Biển Đông (East Sea) Park on the beach of Mỹ Khê from 6pm to 7.30pm on July 6, and from 5pm to 7pm on July 7, the organsers said.

Japanese baseball players will introduce one of their favourite sports to Vietnamese fans and residents at the park from 4pm to 6pm on July 6, and from 3pm to 5pm on July 7.
Dancing group Kadokawa Dreams from Japan will join a hiphop and flash mob and there will be art exchange and music performances in the park from 8pm to 10pm on July 5.
Japanese tea-making and tasting will be taken at APEC Park on the west of Rồng (Dragon) Bridge from 9-11am on July 6
Throughout the festival there will be demonstrations of Japanese calligraphy, paintings, food and a chance to learn more about Sakai City.

Representatives from the Japanese General Consulate will display ‘Colour creation with Tanabata Fest’, Bon Odori, Tokyo Ondo, Takobushi, Hanagasa Ondo and Doraemon Ondo in the evening on July 4 and July 7.
Đà Nẵng has been hosting the annual Japanese Cultural Festival since 2014 and the warmth between the two nations is illustrated by the fact there are 27 Japanese restaurants in the city.
In the past, the city also hosted a cherry festival after Japan's Cherry Association donated 100 trees for planting at the Bà Nà Hills Mountain resort.
