Organized by the HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the city's Department of Foreign Affairs, the exhibition introduces 190 photographs showcasing strong bonds forged by both nations during the wars they fought against the French and the US for national independence.
They also reflect the traditional friendship enjoyed by the two neighboring nations and the co-operative ties between HCM City and the Lao cities of Vientiane and Champasak.
The exhibition will be open until July 23.
