VietNamNet Bridge – Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation (Samco) last week introduced a bus running on compressed natural gas (CNG) and other newly-manufactured buses.

The CNG bus named H75 is the first CNG bus manufactured in Vietnam. It can carry 75 passengers with 38 seats and 37 people standing on the bus deck.
Running on the environmentally-friendly fuel and using South Korea’s advanced technology, H75 is suitable for public transport in big cities.

In addition to the bus running on green fuel, Samco also introduced City J47 and City J61 which have respective capacities of 47 and 61 passengers. These buses meeting Euro 3 emission standards are assembled with imported components and technology transferred from JAC Motor and are also suitable for public transport.
A new 45-seat sleeper coach that is equipped with a mini refrigerator and positioning device was also introduced on this occasion.
On the day of the launch, Phuong Trang Company bought 40 coaches, Kumho Samco Express bought four coaches, and HCMC Transport Cooperative Union bought the CNG bus.
