In the men’s division, Vietnam, sitting in the 27th position, beat Bangladesh (64) 3.5-0.5 through Le Quang Liem, Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son, Tran Tuan Minh and Nguyen Anh Khoi.
The win means the men move up to ninth in the table, and they will meet number 7 seed France in their next match.
In the women’s division, Vo Thi Kim Phung, Pham Le Thao Nguyen, Hoang Thi Bao Tram and young talent Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong overcame Lithuania 3.5-0.5.
They are now eighth in the table and will next face hosts Georgia, who are 4 seed.
