2020 was difficult for Vietnam and the world as COVID-19 raged on throughout the year. Academic Olympiads were also significantly affected, and were held online in order to continue, challenging both professors and contestants.

Still, the difficulties didn’t stop these Vietnamese students claiming 9 gold medals, 8 silvers, 5 bronzes, and 2 certificates of achievement in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. They all brought glory to their country.

In order to uphold Vietnam’s academic results in the world arena, the Prime Minister asked the education sector to continue its reform efforts so that Vietnamese people will be equipped with the skills, knowledge, and creativity to unleash their full potential for personal and national growth./. VNA
