In the final match of the tournament, Chien and Vinh faced off against Ruben Legazpi and Sergio Jimenez of Spain. 

While Vinh secured a convincing victory against Jimenez with a score of 40-22, Chien faced a tougher challenge against Legazpi. 

Despite a fierce contest which saw Chien initially trail but later close the gap, Legazpi ultimately claimed a narrow victory of 40-38. 

The tied result led to a decisive doubles match, where all four players competed on one table alternately until one team reached 15 points. The Vietnamese pair showed their resilience to eventually clinch the championship with a 15-14 win. The pair’s victory marks the country’s first-ever World Three-Cushion Championship title. 

According to the rankings, the country moved up seven notches from 10th to third place with 174 points.

Turkey tops the world rankings with 294 points, followed by the Republic of Korea with 196 points.
