The seventh season of Vietnam Next Top Model will kick off with casting rounds in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in May, according to an April 14 announcement by the producers.

The first episode of the new season will air every Sunday evening on VTV3 channel beginning July 17.

Several past Vietnam Next Top Model winners have gone on to join international fashion events, said the producers, and we hope to find more successful candidates this season.

They said past promising candidates included such high profile names as Huyen Trang, Tuyet Lan, Hoang Thuy, Kha My Van, Mau Thuy, Cha Mi, Van Kien and Tuan Viet to name only a few.

Models from the show have also attended New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Singapore FIDe Fashion Week and Tiffany's Fashion Week Paris.
