Goalkeeper Ho Van Y becomes the hero in the Vietnam vs Myanmar match as he has blocked two shots in the penalty shootout, securing Vietnam's 4-1 victory and winning a ticket to the 2022 AFC Asian Futsal Cup. ,

Thinh Phat scored a goal on 29 minutes in the second half, putting Vietnam ahead, before Khin Zaw Lin earning an equalizer several minutes later.

In the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Ho Van Y, one of the top 10 Futsal goalkeepers in the world, performed very well, blocking two shots to help Vietnam win 4-1 eventually.

By winning a bronze medal, Vietnam also secured the last Southeast Asian ticket to the 2022 AFC Asian Futsal Cup.

The upcoming tournament will see 16 Asian teams to compete in Kuwait in October.

Apart from hosts Kuwait, seven other teams have qualified for the tournament, namely Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
