A railway spokesperson stated that the Tet Binh Ngo transport plan will run from February 3 to March 8, 2026 (from the 16th day of the 12th lunar month in the year of At Ty to the 20th day of the first lunar month of Binh Ngo), featuring 55 trains and more than 800 carriages, offering approximately 335,000 long-distance tickets.
Tickets for the Binh Ngo Tet holiday were made available to the public beginning September 20, 2025.
As of December 22, 2025 - just over three months into sales - around 140,000 tickets had been sold, accounting for 62% of the total compared to the previous At Ty Lunar New Year. Of these, 67% were purchased online, while the remaining 33% were sold directly at railway stations.
