Pham Huy, who won the third prize for his project “Prosthetic Arm Controlled by Legs’ Transmitter for Disabled People” said, “I am very happy when the organizers announced my name. I’m thinking of my parents, teachers, and many people who have supported me on this project. I’ll continue to upgrade my robot to make it smaller and be able to produce it popular use.”
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2017 (Intel Isef) is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.
Millions of students across the global compete each year in local and school-sponsored science fairs; the winners of these events go on to participate in SSP-affiliated regional and state fairs from which the best win the opportunity to attend Intel ISEF.
Intel ISEF unites these top young scientific minds, showcasing their talents on an international stage, where doctoral level scientists review and judge their work.
Vietnamese students have engaged in the contest since 2012 and have won prizes at every event since then.
