For the first time, Vietnam has also ranked among the top 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region for digital music revenue. The country posted a year-on-year growth rate of 12.7%, a remarkable achievement for an emerging market, with digital music accounting for a striking 86.6% of all copyright income.

This result reflects the continued efforts of the Vietnam Center for Protection of Music Copyright (VCPMC), a CISAC member for the past 23 years. The organization has expanded international cooperation, signing bilateral agreements with multiple CISAC members, allowing Vietnamese works to earn royalties abroad - and vice versa.

VCPMC also plays an active role in regional collaboration, participating in training and data sharing with the ASEAN Caucus group, and is regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic collective management organizations (CMOs).

As of November 18, 2025, VCPMC had added 734 new members, bringing its total membership to 7,072. In Q3 2025 alone, the organization disbursed 108.19 billion VND (approximately USD 4.5 million) in royalties to authors and copyright holders.
