Teams competing in the final round of the 2026 Vietnam VEX Robotics National Championship.

The national finals of the VEX Robotics 2026 season marked the most important stage of the year-long competition. In the VEX IQ category, for elementary and lower secondary students, 82 teams competed. Meanwhile, the VEX V5 category for high school students under 19 featured 33 teams, all of which qualified through regional rounds.

The event followed international standards, offering students a comprehensive platform to showcase logical thinking, robot design and fabrication, basic programming, strategic gameplay, and team collaboration skills.

This year’s competition featured both the VEX IQ and VEX V5 challenges, focusing on design, coding, and tactical execution.

Out of more than 200 participating teams nationwide, 14 earned the right to represent Vietnam at the global championship, which will take place from April 21 to 30 in the US. These include three elementary teams, seven middle school teams, and four high school teams.
