On September 27, 2025, Nhip Cau Dau Tu magazine announced the list of the Top 50 Best-Performing Companies in Vietnam for 2025, with CMC Technology Group (CMG) once again honored. This milestone reaffirms CMC’s exceptional strategic vision, robust leadership, and enduring resilience in delivering outstanding performance - even amid market turbulence.

Top 50 – A benchmark of value and performance
The Top 50 ranking is jointly conducted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu and Thien Viet Securities, with methodology rooted in Harvard standards and global benchmarks. Evaluation is based on three consecutive years of performance, measured by revenue, return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share (EPS) - making it a reliable metric of corporate efficiency and sustainable growth.
According to Nhip Cau Dau Tu, the Top 50 group generates immense shareholder value, accounting for over 55% of HOSE’s market capitalization, and leading the sectors driving new growth momentum. The ICT industry remains a spearhead sector, and CMC’s presence on this list affirms its stature as a key player, particularly through its AI-X (AI Transformation) and Go Global strategies.

CMG joins MSCI Frontier Market Index – A gateway to global capital
While the Top 50 recognition cements CMC’s domestic leadership, the company’s inclusion in the MSCI Frontier Market Index in Q1/2025 is a global endorsement of its quality. MSCI is the world’s most influential benchmark index for international capital flows, closely followed and mirrored by thousands of global funds and ETFs.
To qualify for inclusion, companies must meet strict criteria in three areas:
• Free float and liquidity – ensuring sufficient trading volume and freely tradable shares
• Corporate governance and transparency – including international-standard financial reporting, timely disclosures, and protection of shareholder rights
• Scale and market reputation – demonstrating recognized operational and financial stability
This is CMG’s first inclusion in MSCI, a testament to its alignment with international standards. It also positions CMC as one of Vietnam’s few tech enterprises to be globally recognized, opening the door to long-term capital inflows from institutional investors worldwide.
A representative from a foreign investment fund commented: “CMC’s inclusion in MSCI shows that the company meets international governance standards. It’s a positive signal, making CMG an appealing long-term investment.”
Chairman Nguyen Trung Chinh remarked: “Being selected by MSCI validates CMC’s international-level capabilities. It’s a strategic turning point, reaffirming our AI-X and Go Global ambitions, and our commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders.”
Inclusion impact: Liquidity, confidence, and global expansion
CMG’s presence in MSCI carries three significant implications:
1. Increased liquidity and capital attraction – Index funds and ETFs will adjust portfolios to include CMG, naturally channeling foreign capital to the stock.
2. Strengthened investor confidence – A seal of corporate governance excellence that supports higher valuations.
3. Acceleration of global strategy – Aligns with major initiatives such as the groundbreaking of CMC Creative Space Hanoi, regulatory approval for a Hyperscale Data Center in Ho Chi Minh City, and expanded partnerships in international AI ecosystems.

Long-term vision: Vietnamese intelligence for the world
In FY2024, CMC reported revenue of VND 8,203 billion (approx. USD 335 million), EBITDA near VND 1,000 billion (approx. USD 40.9 million), and pre-tax profit of VND 502 billion (approx. USD 20.5 million). For FY2025, the company targets revenue of VND 9,828 billion (USD 402 million, +20%), EBITDA of VND 1,200 billion (USD 49 million, +22%), and pre-tax profit of VND 550 billion (USD 22.5 million).
These strong financial goals underscore leadership’s confidence, built on a solid foundation and an ecosystem of transformative projects.
Looking ahead, by 2028, CMC aims to become a billion-dollar global digital and AI transformation powerhouse with more than 10,000 employees. This is more than a financial aspiration - it is a national mission to elevate Vietnamese intelligence on the global stage.
CMC has been honored in Nhip Cau Dau Tu’s Top 50 for four consecutive years, recognized twice by Forbes, and now included in the MSCI Frontier Market Index. Its ongoing billion-dollar infrastructure investments and high-level international collaborations are writing a compelling chapter in the story of Vietnamese technology.
Chairman Nguyen Trung Chinh emphasized: “Shareholder value is synonymous with CMC’s long-term prosperity. Investing in CMG today means joining a journey to bring Vietnamese innovation to the global technology map.”
