Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will deliver a special speech at the opening plenary session and chair several discussion sessions. He will engage in dialogues with major economic groups and innovative enterprises on cooperation opportunities, new solutions to global development issues, and Vietnam's economic development strategy. Additionally, he will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of countries, international organizations, and large corporations.

This marks the second consecutive year that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has visited and attended the WEF Conference in China, reflecting the high regard of the Vietnamese Party and Government for the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

Ambassador Pham Sao Mai stated that the Prime Minister's visit provides an opportunity for senior leaders of both countries to discuss specific measures to continue effectively implementing the common perceptions reached between the highest leaders of the two Parties and two countries.

The year 2025 is significant as it marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025).

Following historic visits by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (October 2022) and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping (December 2023), the two Parties have established a new position for bilateral relations, building a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance.

To harness the potential and strengths of Vietnam-China relations, the two countries need to maintain close coordination at all levels, across all channels and fields.

"I firmly believe that, based on the advantages, potentials, needs, and existing foundation of bilateral relations, with the determination and joint efforts of the two Parties, countries, and peoples, the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership will develop strongly in the coming time, for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace and development in the region and the world," Ambassador Pham Sao Mai expressed.
