The HTV International Carom 3-Cushion Tournament 2026 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 10 to 16, bringing together many of Vietnam's leading cueists alongside international competitors.

The tournament's biggest attraction is Tran Quyet Chien, Vietnam's highest-ranked three-cushion player, who is expected to compete as one of the seeded players. Currently ranked 17th in the world, he enters the tournament as one of the favorites for the title.

He will be joined by two other top Vietnamese players - Bao Phuong Vinh, ranked ninth in the world, and Tran Thanh Luc, ranked 12th - setting up a highly anticipated contest among Vietnam's elite three-cushion carom players.

250 players to compete

Under the competition format, 250 players will contest the qualifying rounds, with the top 32 advancing to the final stage.

Those qualifiers will join 32 seeded and invited players, forming a 64-player main draw.

The tournament champion will receive VND80 million (US$3,060) in prize money, while the runner-up will earn VND50 million (US$1,910). Each of the two losing semi-finalists will receive VND20 million (US$765).
